Who Am I?

Learn about me
A Mom of 4
Becoming a mom in 2008 was a turning point in my life. My son was born, and honestly, he saved me from a life that could have taken a much darker path. At the time, I wasn’t surrounded by the most uplifting or positive influences, but he changed everything. In 2013, I was blessed with my first daughter, who has since taught me invaluable lessons in patience and empathy.
Then, in 2017, came my second daughter—who I thought would be my last. She was such a brilliant and expressive baby, speaking quickly and captivating everyone with her big, beautiful eyes. She’s my spicy senorita, and she’s shaped me into a better mom in ways I may not even fully realize yet.
Finally, in 2022, I welcomed my surprise baby, a perfect addition to our family. My third daughter, or as I call her, my saucy little chonk, is sweet, hilarious, and has a laugh so contagious it’s impossible not to smile when you hear it.
These four incredible children are the reason I’ve decided to start this blog. I want to share my experiences and lessons with anyone who chooses to read. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
Home daycare Provider
In 2013, after the birth of my oldest daughter, I faced a difficult decision. Returning to any job at that time would have cost me around $900 a month when you factor in daycare, gas, travel time, and the sheer number of hours I would be away from my children. It quickly became clear that going back to work simply wasn’t worth it.
Fortunately, my passion for children and my 2-year college program in Early Childhood Education from 2009 provided me with a perfect solution—starting my own home daycare. It was a decision that not only allowed me to stay home with my children but also brought so many wonderful families into my life. Over the years, many of these families have become more like extended family than clients, and I’m grateful for the deep connections we’ve built.
Running a home daycare has also been an incredible learning experience. It has taught me so much about child development, healthy eating, fun activities, and so much more. These are the lessons and insights I’m excited to share with you on this blog!
My Hobbies
To be honest, I can’t say that I really have any hobbies at the moment. With a 2-year-old who is very much my little velcro toddler, most of my time is spent with my kids when I’m not working. I absolutely adore all of my children and cherish every moment, but it does leave me with very little “me time.” My free moments usually come at night, when I’m lying in bed next to my toddler (and often my 7-year-old), both of them peacefully sleeping. During that time, I find myself scrolling through my smartphone, looking up new healthy recipes and fun activities to try.
That being said, I’m really excited to start this blog. I feel like it could be a perfect new hobby for me—something that allows me to get my thoughts out on paper and express my creativity. I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me, and I’m so glad you’re coming along for the ride! Thanks for joining me at Mom Living Daily.
The First Born
I remember the moment I found out I was pregnant. I was only 19 and it was a crazy experience. Read my full story here.

What did my kids get for christmas this year?
Every year I struggle with the thought of spending money on toys they will play with once and then throw into a dark corner of the room never to be seen again….
